My tires are 255/45/17's and when I am going 70 my speedo says 75 anybody know if I have a set of gears? I dont think the tires should throw it off that much.

if you know exact RPMs, were in 4th and have the tire diameter check this site out. scroll down, use the Calculate Rear End Gear Ratio calculater

just take the car and put it on some jack stands, then rotate ur drive shaft and count. u can get a decent measure on the gears.
oh yeah never thought of that duh! Guess I will have to wait for spring to find out
well, normally if you have slightly taller tires than stock, it would make the speedo read lower, not higher...but slightly taller tires in combination with gears could easily make it read 5 mph or so higher, if i were to guess i'd say you have 3.55's in it....

Well I did the old spin the tires count the drive shaft rotations today and guess what. I have 4.10's. woohooooo. And the guy at the dealership thought it was stock. Those idiots just keep getting dumber and dumber by the day. Guess I'm gonna have to pull the comp and check fo a chip now
