Do I need a driveshaft loop?

I am going to the drag strip this weekend. I bought some MT Drag Radials and do I need a DS loop?

I heard you only need one for Slicks at the track. Am I ok to run at the track without one with DR? Thanks

I believe you need a loop if running 11.49 and under with Drag radials, above that you should be good.
