Do the filters on the valve cover let oil escape?

No they do not I've been running them for 9 months now not a single leak!

My driver side would after long hwy pulls 150+. I would notice a thin layer on the coil pack cover and the filter would be pretty soaked. Just the drivers side though.

They won't redistribute the oil back through the intake if that's what you mean. They will however begin to dirty up you engine bay with a thin coat of oil after the filters become saturated.

I run filters on a Paxton setup with no leaks or misting. You'll just want to clean them every like 3 or 4 thousand miles with dawn dish soap or something and let them air dry for a bit. I do it when I change my oil / head unit oil.

Mine leak on the drivers side as well. Normal driving after a while and it speeds up with spirited driving and racing.
