to help draw cool air from the fenderwell and how well does it do it? I see the seal there but don't know if that is more for marketing or if it actually does something.
I am trying to decide between this and the C&L air filter kit that just comes with a shield that surrounds about 1/3 of the filter to help deflect heat away. I can get a much, much better deal on the C&L (about $60 less than the K&N).
