Since I cracked mine overtightening the oilpressure sender, I need a new adapter piece that bolts in between the block and the oilcooler.
Because I'm in a hurry, and because I read numerous people have problems with the oilcooler itself, I thought I could maybe use a Mach1 piece?
From what I understand, it's not actually an oil cooler as it's more of an oil heater (emissions). I'm just a poor old streetcar, do I really need it?
but maybe our alternator is in the way and that's why we have specific parts?
Anyone have a definitive answer on this matter? And if you can swap to a non oil cooler adapter, do you need different gaskets?
Thanks!
