Anybody know how strict they are about your helmet being SNELL vs DOT? I am borrowing a nice DOT motorcycle helmet and I don't want to go all the way up there tomorrow night for nothing. I'm pretty sure in the past I've seen guys in atv helmets.

I called them last summer and they told me it has to be SNELL approved. So I went and bought the cheapest SNELL approved helmet I could find for like 220. Then I get there with it, and the tech inspection guys didnt even look at it. i would get the cheapest helmet you can buy.
