Drag radials

I'm about to order some 15x8 wheels but need help on tire choice.
i know I'm going to use mt radials but on size what is everyone using with a a6 car and stock converter.
so I want to go either 275/60-15 or 275/50-15.
i am going to upgrade my converter in a few months.Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Would a 28" Tall tire bog me down with the stock converter?

255/60 on an 8" wheel if the 8" wheel is a must... The 28' tire WILL slow you down 1-2 MPH, at least it did me...

run the same diameter as stock. 27" tall tire(255/60-15). My car ran best of 12.16 with tune and those tires
