I ran into two young guys in a dressed up Mustang GT near work this morning. It actually looked sharp with a custom blue paint job, multi-colored flames, Cobra replica rims, hood scoops, nightstalker body kit and a wing of course. I liked the look, although a little on the bling side. I asked the driver what he'd done to the car/how much hp to the rear wheels. He said he had a 50 shot of NOS and with a supercharger he thought maybe 700 horses. I then asked if it was supercharged, meaning to ask for a look. He then admitted it had no supercharger. I decided it was rice.

What would a GT get with a 50 shot? with a sc? Could a GT motor handle 700 horses anyway?:bash:

all show, no go.

stock GT motor could probably handle about 450hp.. but that's running it at the edge of blowing apart. It'd need some engine massaging to get to 700.

Riced out mustangs look tacky. I think they look best lowered and with a nice set of wheels, thats it. Keep the body kits and all that other junk for the riceboiz.

I like to make fun of the ricers but they probably look at my lifted truck and say "redneck". BUT...at least my truck is functional.

Its a shame to watch people rice out any car, especially a domestic.

Sometimes you gotta understand though that speed is not the number one priority for these people. Would he get a GT if speed was priority? No he'd get a cobra. Other factors of course are money.

The most important I think is these people want their car to stand out from the rest. More often then not they make this happen in a bad way but ah well, to each their own.

Well lets forget about the car. The guy is a honda owner driving a mustang. Anyone that lies about HP in my mind is a ricer. Just for the mere fact that ricers always lie about what kind of power they are making.

What a retard.

Well, the guy was young. I would've ventured to think money was the reason he didn't get a Cobra. But imagine what he spent on the paint job, rims and body kit. The rims were obviously replica. I've never seen cobra wheel caps with red in them. If I see it again, I'll snap a picture and post. What really looked tacky, now that I think about it, was the GT emblem on the fender right above the Cobra rims. At least he didn't say it was a Cobra.

the only thing ricers use is underbody neons no offence call me a ricer if you want ( but i hate ricers) oxymoron... i really liked when i had my black 01 cobra with blue neons at norwalk raceway at night doing a big burn out all the smoke turned blue it was "neet"

but seriously that would be the only ricer thing i would do and i dont think it would be to over the edge
