Drilled rotors + OEM pads???

So I just installed some brand new drilled rotors along with some oem pads (brand new) that I had lying around. Would this affect the rotors in any way? Are aftermarket pads recommended for drilled rotors? Reason I ask is because I noticed some noise coming from my suspension, kinda like a clicking sound, after I installed the rotors. Thanks in advance for the info.

If the rotors are slotted they will make like a click sound while rotating.. It sound like you are being chased by a swarm of locusts.

well, the rotors are only drilled. Would it have a similar effect with those??

I don't think it will matter, along as its new on new. You might get a little less performance out of um, But I guess you probaly knew that already.

Installing drilled rotors shouldn't click at all with any kind of pad. Do you hear that sound when your wheels are straight or turned?
