My drive side window rolls down fine, but when i roll it back up, it rolls up, but doesn't know when to stop. it gets to the top and keeps trying to go up further. Anyone ideas as to what this can be?

Sounds like the switch is sticking.
Try removing the switch (2 phillips head screws) Then pop off the switch button and spray the switch with electric parts cleaner.

Subscribing. I have this problem as well. I don't think its the switch in my case though.

we need a new regulator. the teeth on one part look so worn out and its just not catching at the top.
usually the "hooks" on the bottom of the glass get lose and move to where they dont grab at the top to stop the glass where the adjustment are made for the glass.
