I put a new lower cover on my driver's side seat. While I had the seat apart I put a piece of gas hose over the bolster bar and re glued the foam but I can already feel the bar through the foam again and don't want to mess up my new cover. My question is what is the down side to cutting the bar out. I have extra foam from another project that I can put in there rather I cut the bar out or not but I was wondering what your thoughts were on cutting it out. I don't want to lose any support and was afraid cutting the bar out would make the bolster to soft.
