It should have atleast 30 more hp and less weight. I'd expect it to bust a 5.4.
I like the part about the transmission. So in the F150 the motor shouldn't be transversely mounted like in the Taurus allowing for a stronger tranny hopefully. We may be able to see the full potential of this motor in its F150 application.
Look for it in the Mustang too.

The F-150 is also supposed to be getting a version of the 5.0 too.
And a twin turbo 5.0 in the GT500 is now rumored too!

I cant see this with the GT being NA still, a ecoboost stang with bolt ons will be beating bolt on v8's....
I was hoping for better mileage then 17-20 mpg. I can get that now with my 06 5.4
They could drop either the turbo & non turbo in the Ranger and sell a few light weight models.
BMW 335i vs M3. Same thing basically.
Latest word is that the engine should be in the 400tq range.
Thats why the next M3 will have the twin turbo six cylinder engine :banana:
