Dtc p0174

I just ran about 3 tanks blended to about E20-E25 ,and it seems I'm getting a DTC P0174 . Anybody else ever have this issue ? I went back to regular fuel and it went away . Thanks for the help !

Because Ethanol has a lower stoich point than gasoline, the more you add to a regular "Non-Flex Fuel" car, the more the factory O2's have to adjust.

Looks like in your car E-20-E25 might have been more than your O2's and system could adjust.

P0174 is a lean bank code.

Either you blend less or get your car retuned for the lower Stoich value.

Thanks for the explanation ,I think I'm going to try a couple more tanks with a little less. See how that works and go from there !
