I've just got a few questions about the eaton blowers on the 03 cobra:

mind you i'm a rookie to blown field so take it easy on me!!

What keeps it from producing boost all the time?

What determines when it actually makes boost? vaccum? throttle position?

I know that turbos have wastegates to bypass excess boost. What do our blowers do with the excess?

There is no excess boost in your application. The supercharger makes X amount of boost at Y rpm. Where X is your max boost(psi) and Y is depending on motor, pulley ratio, and tune is near the upper limit of rpm range for a given motor. The supercharger's ability to produce boost is directly related to engine rpm, because the crankshaft and the pulley of the supercharger are connected via a belt. Throttle position best determines boost pressure.
