Dump walve on a L...???

I just looked at horsepowerfreaks.com and found out they sell dump walves for the L`? I know turbocars can sound nice and have a use for a dumpwalve, but is this something to use in a L? Wold it do anything for performance?

And a new question... Some are talking about a big fart sound when it goes into 2.gear? And boost bypass and so on... Is this the same side of the same issue?

I just glanced at what they offer on that sight...It seems that those BOV's are universal for any FI vehicle.
If you notice, they also list "Lightning Clutches" (Manual trans. type) for sale :shrug:

I dont have any particulare dump i wold like to by... Im just curius on what it is good for and if it makes the "right noise"? Have any of you installes a dump?
