This is just a quik Question for anyone that may know ...

WHats the difference if you Pull a lets say a Cobra in 3rd gear Vs 4th gear?? i mean lets say you threw your car on there and ran it in 4th then waited a tad then pulled it in 3rd ?? Will there be any calculating differences ?? or does it matter if the dynometer is calibrated for 3rd or 4th gear pulls or no ??

you have to do a pull in your 1:1 gear and that will be 4th. if you do the pull in 3rd your at 1.xx and that will give you a higher/false dyno reading.

nah just has to do w/ the gear ratio and getting a proper reading, im sure theyre would be a traction problem as well considering there are ppl spinning the tires w/ higher hp cars w/ the 1:1 pull

well 6spds are normally in 4th since thats the 1:1. autos are dynoed in 3rd and other manuals are dynoed in the 1:1 gear, whether its 3rd,4th,or 5th
