Dyno + Tire Speed Rating Question

As many of you guys know, a lot of tuners like fourth gear runs during datalogs. I currently have snow tires on my car with speed rating of H (130 MPH.) I assume that fourth gear in a 3.15 geared car is going to be over 130 mph.

Do you guys think it will be safe to do a fourth gear run on a dyno to do the datalog, or will some irreparable damage occur to my tires?

"Speed ratings tell you the maximum speed a tire can safely sustain for 10 minutes"

I think you will be fine

I ended up doing a third gear pull on the streets.

You know how they say that bias-ply drag slicks are not to be used on the highway because of their wobble. Imagine that wobbling feeling from all four tires. That is what taking snow tires above 90 mph feels like

That's why I got "winter sport" tires last winter. Soft compound and sipes like a snow tire, but stiffer sidewalls. They still had much softer sidewalls than my MPSS tires, and you could definitely feel it on a turn, but they are WAY better in dry weather than straight snow tires.
