So I recently had my 2007 dyno tuned on 91 octane and e85. Car has a lethal return fuel system and id1300 injectors so I can run e85. Made great power on the dyno.... Made 775rwhp on 91 octane and much more on e85. The car ran great on the way home from the dyno.... I had to stop multiple time to refill gas and drop off a friend and the car started back up great. Come the next morning I go to start the car and it cranks abnormally long because it's on e85. I smell gas.... wich is bad.... look under the car and there is e85 dripping pretty good out of my header collectors. It flooded the entire engine and contaminated the oil big time. I originally thoughy i had and injector stuck open but through some diagnosis i determined the fuel system was working fine..... put the car back together and tried to crank it again and same thing.... ruined another $80 fill of oil. I then drained the tank and switched to 91 and loaded the 91 octane tune up..... car started right up and ran great so I determined I have an issue with my e85 tune.... but for shits and giggles I drained the gas tank and filled it with e85 while the car was still hot and switched to the e85 tune up and the car started right up and ran fine. So I was thinking it was a e85 tune cold start fuel enrichment issue. My tuner didn't really understand my reasoning for thinking there was something amiss with the tune and told me to try and cold start it again on e85.... and I ruined another tank of oil and flooded the motor out again in probably 3-4 cranks. Has anyone seen anything like this before? My tuner is very reputable in the business and has tuned 100's of cars just like mine, buy I think he has some kind of issue with the tune up on mine. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
