Easiest way to replace clutch 00 svtc

i have a 2000 ford contour svt i have the haynes manual but doesnt give me much insight on best way to do i ordered a stage 3 racing clutch to put in i have never done a clutch before so what would be the easiest way to do it without taking the motor out any help would be great thank you

drop the subframe

Dropping the subframe is an option removing motor is prob easier

is there a way to do it without dropping the subframe or taking the motor out i am wondering if you can drop it out the bottom without removing the subframe?

You have to drop the subframe if your going to pull the tranny out from the bottom or side.


Its possible to pull the tranny out from the bottom and drivers side wheel well but its not easy.
