Just got an Eaton in the mail, but it's full of crushed styrofoam peanuts, and it's greasy. Can I spray this thing down with some degreaser and try and rinse all the styrofoam out, or will that FIU?

Also, thinking about having it powder coated, along with the C&L upper and inlet tube. Can you bake an Eaton, or will that mess up the seals?

Thanks!

remove the rotors from the case and clean it by hand.

Yeah, that was gonna be my follow up post.

Just get some anerobic gasket sealer to reseal the snout back on to the case. Use a small thin bead and you'll be fine.

just to add to previous post you can take a small screwdriver and a hamner and gently tap between the snout and case and get the rotors out without losing any oil. other than that get you a few cans of brake clean and go to town.
