Ok, a buddy of mine says his blower isn't spinning and he was told there's a dowel pin on the shaft and it must've broken. I've installed a bunch but never heard of this problem. Can anyone help/enlighten me on this?

Don't know of a dowel pin on a blower shaft! Pullies are pressed on. If it's not rotating with the enigne running...he has a shit load more problems to worry about!!!!!
There is a coupler (plastic I believe) that ties the snout and the drive gear/rotor together. Perhaps that crapped out.
yea thats what they are taking about. the coupler..u can buy them from eaton for like 23.oo i had to change on in my grand prix gtp. it hade an eaton m95 on it.. this is what he needs..
