Eaton question

I've noticed a random popping sound coming from the eaton as the temps come up. then with the engine shut off it will pop a few times a few minutes apart. I was thinking it may be related to heat transfer and expansion. Any ideas?

I think I know what you're talking about (pop) ... I do believe that is normal, at least mine make that same noice (when I notice, that is)...I do believe its the heat transfer
