See if someone can help, I'm selling an item on ebay.. I would like to do the buy it now feature, but a friend told me that I would get a 2% charge if I do this.. Is that true??

You get charged a certain % no matter how you sell it. It all depends on how much the item sold for
I have it up for sale on ebay right now, They already charged me $30 for listing, So they will charge again when it sells??
what is it? ebay motors charges a flat fee for selling and then more for extras, like more pics, reserve pricing, buy it now, etc... all the fees should be llisted and explained when your placing the ad.
They already told me (when listed) what I was being charged.. I just wanted to be sure I didn't then get charged off the selling price..
ex. IF I listed the Cobra and it on sold for 20,000, I would be charged the same as if it sold for 50,000, IF I listed it the same??? Is this right..

btw- these are not ebay motors fees. that's a different animal.
on ebay motors it's a $40 insertion fee and another $40 if it sells
