EGR Delete Question

I posted this in the EGR delete thread and I've searched and haven't found what I'm wondering. I'm wanting to delete my EGR just for a cleaner engine bay, however I'm not ready to take my car to a tuner and have them tune it yet. I do have an X4. So if I do delete the EGR is it just as simple as using my X4 and turning off the EGR or is there more to it than that?

Nope. I relocated all my emissions crap from the side of my blower into my wiper cowl. Once in a great while it will throw a code for it. It runs fine. I clear it and its good for another 1000 miles or so.

I plan on actually deleting it completely this year, not just moving it as I did. Egr delete has no performance gain, its all a visual modification.
