I'm starting this thread so the mod thread above doesn’t get too clogged up with just my questions. I have posed a question to mjchip there and continuing here.
Does anyone have experience with using an setup to monitor EGT's. I have found one setup on computech, but it seems kind of clunky to monitor.

Seems to have a pretty sweet setup, a dual 2-1/16 gauge to read both banks and pretty reasonable prices on the probes.
I'm not sure which is better, the weld on or clamp on probes? Anyone with experience with either please comment.
Are there anyother companys I should be looking at? What kind of things should i be looking for (build quailty, temp ratings/ranges....etc...)?
How/where were the probes mounted, and should I do this when I get my exhaust changed out?
