Emergency Break Light

I was driving my Cobra around yesterday and my ebrake light started coming on at random times. I have yet to find a real pattern to when it happens but I have noticed it sometimes comes on when I brake and sometimes when I clutch. It doesn't come on all the time but I noticed that today it came on more than yesterday. In July I installed new Hawk HPS pads but have had no problems with them at all. I live in Iowa and the temperatures have started dropping quite a bit lately so I don't know if that could have something to do with the problem, but I doubt it does since I had the car last winter and this was never an issue even during -20 degree mornings. Thanks for taking the time to read and help me out.

E brake light doubles as low brake fluid indicator.

The brake cylinders in these cars are very touchy. Check the brake fluid level and top off if needed.

Mine was doing the same thing, mostly hitting the brakes, or on heavy acceleration. Topped off and no more e brake light.
