Engine build advice needed for new 4v owner

So for an introduction i did an v6 to mach 1 swap because i found a wrecked mach 1 for rather cheap. I had the motor checked, heads done and added cams, new water pump seals gaskets, i just didnt buy new oil pump( which now i think bit me in the butt). So after the swap the engine ran rough for a week then i took it for a 15 minute trip the oil pressure dropped suddenly right before my exit and there was a very faint smoke coming from oil dipstick and my cold air intake and my engine seized. So i need advice on what is a good rotating assembly? Should i stroke it?
I do want to get some power out of it but i want it to be reliable as a daily driver. i was thinking of later on getting a procharger or supercharger but right now i want my shortblock to be very strong.
