engine cuts out when in boost when it's cold out ???

as the title says WTF ???

this is my friends Harely truck making about 450-500 to the wheels.

Wondering if his boost bypass wasn't disabled in his tune and the cold air is picking up a tad more boost ???

any ideas ?

I would say it is spark blow out. My car does it when the weather starts to get cold. Check the plugs and see if the gap needs closed a little.

Only does it when it`s cold,hmmmm...could be maxing out the MAF.

+1 If its a stock MAF its already close to being maxed out and the denser colder air would Max it out more than likely
