engine won't stay running code p0148

I need some help guys, I was driving my cobra kinda like a jerk last night and I hit the rev limiter a few times when doing a burnout and it started running funky. I won't stay running and throws a p0148 (fuel delivery error)code. Anyone have any ideas? Good the fuel rail pressure sensor possible have went bad? When I keep it running it is dumping ALOT of extra fuel in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

update: when i pull the vacuum line off the frps and plug it it idles by itself, then as soon as i plug that line back into the sensor it craps out so i'm guessing thats the problem. How much do those cost and are they only available through a ford dealer?

You probably popped your FRPS and yes it's a Ford only part. For the cheapest price, call Steve at Tousley Ford 1-800-328-9552 ask for Steve or Kevin . I think they are about $75-80 shipped. I keep a spare in my glove box.
