I haven't driven my truck for 3 or 4 weeks. I start her up and all of a sudden the engine is misfiring.

Cylinder #8 misfiring error code P0308

I'm assuming an injector is sticking or possibly a bad coil pack.

I drove it around for about 10 miles hoping something would change but nothing did.

Any suggestions???

OK. need a little help here.

The coil pack has its own error code right?

Could it be a stuck injector???

If the truck sat for an extended period in the rain, you probably have one or more plug holes full of water. The water will not evaporate rapidly. You would have to drive long enough to bring the engine to operating temperature for an hour or more to boil the water away. The water is trapped by the boot on the ciol pack so it does not go away easily. Your best bet is to find an air compressor and remove the coils so you can blow the water out of the holes. Left unattended, the plugs will rust in the holes.

swap the COP with another cylinder and see if the misfire follows, you can do the same with the injector. A plug change wouldn't hurt either.
