Previous best & mods are in the sig. My buddy let me borrow his et streets and I gutted the back and trunk out. I also put a 100mm upper idler on. Weather was pretty good and I iced the intake between runs. Got 4 runs in, the first 3 were speed shifting, the last and best was power shifting. The first was identical to my previous best. 2nd & 3rd runs were 12.08 & 12.10 @115. On the 12.10 run I beat up on a new z06, gotta love it!!!! Last run well, it was tits!!!! All runs I left the line between 5-6200 rpm's. I lifted my leg off the clutch, not side step, and mashed her down!!! At no time today with the et streets did the irs ever feel bad like previous runs with the f1's. I know traction his huge but the great traction I got really seemed to make the irs feel so much better, it felt solid. I was so nervous about breaking I actually got a AAA membership with 100 mile towing just in case! At no point today did I get the feeling something was going to give. But then again do you ever????? Im not saying the irs will hold up like this forever but it just felt great!
Thanks to Lou & Frank from Laurel Mountain Mustang and there gay ass gm buddy Brian!!!!!
