There is no car I want more than this new 991 GT3 except maybe the 458 Speciale when it is available.

I gotta say it is bad ass... I drove an older one. Very peaky engine. A serious car for sure. Also have to say I can't believe Porsche is not doing a manual trans version... That seems crazy for a drivers car!

If you spent any time at some PCA events you would have your answer. Of the potential buyers for this car most of them want the dual clutch. It is rarely one's daily driver. The GT3 is a track car and coming up short on speed does not sell cars. In this video a manual box car would of come up 1 second slower than the McLaren's time. There is a small amount of people howling the Metzger is gone too even though the new 911 based engine is just flat out better.
