That happened to a friend of mine. She went for a restraining order. As soon as she did that he had to go on LOA. Couldn't carry a gun so he couldn't do his job anymore. He's now changing careers.

I've seen it a few times. My ex went after both of my businesses. She didn't need the money, she just wanted to see me burn. I had a friend kill himself after his ex destroyed his life.

I don't say this lightly; the modern woman is pure evil.

I am shocked at the shit some of you have been through and are even dealing with in your marriages.

Makes me appreciate what I have with my wife. 11 years and no massive issues or psychotic BS. She's pretty level headed under even the most stressful of times.

When we argue we stay on topic, no name calling or bombs dropped trying to degrade or insult each other. The worst we've done is tell the other they're being an asshole.

She has always been supportive of me and my goals. She carried the lions share of the finances for nearly 3 years while I changed careers to put our family in a better place.

The initial goal was for me to make enough so that she could work part time and be a housewife. Things worked out so well she literally doesn't need to work but does from time to time at our kids school.

Could I have gotten to this financial place without her support? Yes but my God it would have been a metric F ton harder because I had to take a %50 pay cut when I started over.

Life is much easier when you have people who truly support you. Honestly She's the only one that ever has. And no my parents didn't really. That's a whole other story though.

Quality women are still out there and nobody should be putting up with some of the stuff I am reading here.

I get it, if you're being abused or your spouse is a cheater, has an addiction or some crazy S#!T going on then yes get out.

I always tell my kids their mom left me because of of some insignificant problems and ended up with a different set of insignificant problems in the dude she left me for. Ha Ha, same S#!T different dude/problems, but in the end same type of relationship LOL....

I actually got lucky in that my ex didn't try to take me to the cleaners. Child support was a bitch, but I still did a lot for my kids above and beyond. When they turned 16 I got them a car and paid the insurance. I always took them shopping for school clothes and made sure they had what they needed. My ex never came after me for more every time I got a raise. I just can't fathom the hate that some women have where they want to have a constant war going on with their ex.
Current wife will soon be issued a halo for putting up with my shit and never saying a cross word. She even drives the truck to bring my shit to race days and sits around all day without complaining.
