With my new 2011 SVTPP, I plan on doing the basic pully, intake and tune asap. But, I was wondering...how good is the stock exhaust? I kinda like the sound of it. I don't want a loud system. Would it be better to do an axleback? Are there any gains to be had with an axleback? What about replacing the stock xpipe with a high flow catted x and keep the stock mufflers? FYI, I don't see myself doing much more to the car for a while after the pully, intake and tune.

If you like the sound and loudness of the stock exhaust, there's no reason to change it until you do other, more bang-for-buck mods (in most cases). An axleback won't do anything for power. A catted x-pipe, in most cases, provides you with an extra 15-20rwhp.
