Could someone here explain the difference between Composite and Stainless Steel Exhaust systems? What is the difference in makeup? Do they sound different from each other? Which one will last longer? Is there a big difference in cost. I am thinking of a Bassani X Pipe and Magnaflow Catback on my car.
A side question: What is the difference between between a regular Magnaflow systems and a Magnaflow Mangapack system?

Thanks Exhaust Gurus.

Not sure what you mean by "composite" exhaust?

Magnaflow vs. Magnapack can be explained on their own website.

In short; most Mustang application Magnaflow systems feature a typical oval-can full-sized muffler. Magnapack is like their interpretation of a 'glasspack'.

Bassani X/Magnaflow is a nice sounding combo.

If you mean "aluminized steel" vs. Stainless; just search a little harder and you'll find tons of explanations, but Stainless will last longer and ultimately age/look better in the long run.

Look up 04 Sleepers car... then you won't really care about anything else and you'll just buy stainless.
