Is the 94 the same as the 92 fwd? It takes me about two hours to do the front on mine. Last time I used Carbon Metallic Pads and they have been great.
I have never had to have my discs turned so I can't tell you about that aspect. But when I have my calipers off I clean up the surface of the rotors with my belt sander to remove the glazed look and put in a nice cross-hatch, it helps the new pads wear in properly. I do check my rotors with a dial guage to check for run out and it has never been greater than 3 thousands. Make sure to clean the sliding rails on the calipers and the supports and to re-lubricate with high temp disc grease.
