Extended warranty or no extended warranty?

Ive been hearing about a lot of guys saying there L has "cluncks", and "rattles" along with other problems. I even heard of guys getting new motors.

My question is did all of you buy an extended warranty? And if so from who? ford, or these on-line warranties I hear about? Do I buy one or not?

My zzzzz'00 motor just blew up. Sure glad I have the extended warrantee. If you get one make sure you get the Ford warrantee, not one from some third party that my not be here tomorrow.

How long are you going to keep the truck and do you plan on letting a dealers service department work on it? If you are keeping it less than 3 years (36K miles) or don't intend to let Ford work on it for you then keep the money in your pocket.
