Extended Warrenty Anyone?

Did anyone purchase an extended warrenty? and for how much?

I did for 60mos/60,000 B to B w/ first 2 years of free maintainance...not free but paid for in the deal...

The Ford extended warranty was around 2k so I passed. I can still add it later if I want to.

I am still trying to keep mine covered by warrenty for the normal term of 36 months.

i did not get one yet on mine.. ford offered me one for $1000 for an extra two years..

I chose topass on the extended warrenty and here is why:

1. Most of the problems ford cars/trucks incur occurs within the first year or two of ownership.
2. I highly doubt I will be anywher near stock after 3 years of ownership.

If you do not plan to mod and want peace of mind and have the cash...go for it.
