I have a 2000 F-250 and I'm thinking that maybe the shocks need replacement but I am not sure. The truck has 75k miles and was wondering how long the original shaocks should last? Thanks in advance.

Ditch 'em.

I just put a set of the Rancho RS9000XL's (the new 9-ways) on our Excursion and love 'em.

Tried a set of the Monroe Gas Magnums (the yellow ones) and they weren't adequate enough on the rebound. I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. They honestly weren't any better than the OE units I took off.

yea I would go with the bilsteins also...If you can bounce the truck up and down the shocks are due for replacing and like stated above it all depends what you used the truck for (offroading, work, etc) that can affect how long a shock will last you.
