I give up. I am convinced that the KB with the 19PSI pulley will never not have slippage. I've tried nonslip pulleys, an idler pulley, and different belts. Nothing works. I am fed up.

Did you ever have belt slip before this set up? I am thinking about trying the 9.1" lower with the 3.25" upper. Do you guys think this will solve the problem? I don't want to waste more money for something that is still not going to work.

I had belt slip with the eaton, but never with the KB. I've only ever run one pulley combo with the KB.

OK now I am confused. Which pulley combo = what? What is equivalant to the 19 psi pulley? 9.1" lower(6 lb.) and 3.25 upper or the 8.8" (4 lb. lower) and the 3.25 upper..

Really simple actually:

(Sizes below as shown using Stock Lower Crank Pulley)

3.5" produces (13 psi) - plus 6lb. Lower = 19 lbs. boost
3.25" produces (15 psi) - plus 4 lb. Lower = 19 lbs. boost!

Eaton,

I have a KB 3.00 Upper with a Metco 4lb lower. I had a RR, but it destroyed belts I hear, so i went with the KB pullies, and have never looked back.

I used to schred a belt with just one dyno pull with the KB 2 1/2" upper pulley, stock lower with the KB. KB should not even sell the 2 1/2" upper pulley at all, just not enough surface area for the belt. With the 3.5 upper and 8 lb lower I am seeing about 22 or 23lbs with no slip at all. I also use the BF aux idler.

I think you have to change the alt pulley to slow it down with a 4lb or larger lower pulley, I did. See my mod's list below:

EatonLS-1s, if I am not mistaken, i think a 78" belt is what would work with that combination. "racerat" should know, he is running this setup.
