Hey folks.
I go to school in Hamilton, NY (about an hour south of Syracuse) and we can get some brutal winters there. Snow just about every day and temperatures in the single digits often. No, I'm not asking if it would be safe to run around boosted in these conditions, but rather - is it safe for the supercharger head unit and all the piping to be exposed to this kind of harsh weather? I was thinking that the weather would do a number on the durability of the parts, especially since the car will likely be sitting under the cover for days (if not weeks) at a time. For this reason, I was thinking of going NO2 and taking out the bottle during the winter and only using in the late spring/summer season. Would this be my best bet or would a supercharger be fine in this kind of climate?
Thanks folks.
