I would have bought it in a heartbeat if it wasnt for the motor issue.
the last time ('07) I went to the track I blew off a vacuum line. Plugs looked good, but swapped them anyway. Everything seemed OK. I made one final attempt at a pass & for the first time, snapped a half-shaft. The car sat for a week before I could have the HS replaced @ ATS.. & when it fired, there was a sound that goes away as the motor warms. The car is still quite drivable & remained my DD until june of '08. I have & will disclose this to every serious inquiry.

My plan was to rebuild it THIS Spring but the plan changed when I needed to involve my attorney to handle a something for me. Also, my eldest daughter was just accepted @ USC so I need the money more than I need my "other woman" right now. This is the reason I'm selling & none other.

I've spoken with two shops I've used before & know what a rebuild (replacing what's hurt) will typically run & what getting upgraded (built) parts will run. I think the car is still priced to sell but opinions vary. david already knows this, just fyi for others about his comment.

PMs sent. Until I make time to get the CL back up, the asking price was $19,900. If you're not local to SC, how you get the car home is on your dime (it can be driven, fwiw).

Many of you know what a rebuild goes for & with upgraded internals (your local shop prices may vary). I can arrange to have MV Perf do the motor in-house with ~2 week turn around or at Amazon. Amazon's engine shop has a longer lead time, though.

You tell me what you're willing to offer if less than the asking price. Please don't ask my bottom dollar as I'm unsure what that is. I may entertain dropping the price to include the rebuild-you'd get one helluva car for a total outlay of less than 20k. I know what my attorney's fees are & as time marches (been a month) on I'm saving it up--I may opt not sell it. That said, I won't lose my @$$ on this more than is reasonable.

Clean title, one owner, ALWAYS in a garage & detailed condition...

I hate to see you sell her James but I understand how life goes. Hit me up sometime so we can catch up.
