[QUOTE="Nightmare302, post: 15713995, member: 14127"] Ok, I was pulling punches but it's clear you are an internet forum hero. When you say I'm going to run low 8's then post up 8.73's to prove your point is amusing. Then you claim you already have an 8 second car then say it's not an 8 second. Then you say it's ready to go then you say "when my car is done". One, the FATAL flaw in a T-56/Magnum is that at elevated hp during a run the gears became very very very very hot. The long term solution to saving them is to put oil squirters to keep them cool. Secondly, the clutch required to hold that power is not nice on transmissions. A regular everyday T-56 with a 26 spline will not last at that level if you are "driving it to work". When you started trying to explain boost controllers I kind of zoned out. Your engine is BUILT differently for high hp. They wear out faster, they use large cam profiles that make idle difficult, they use massive fuel pumps that scream and draw huge loads. They use massive injectors and they require cages that aren't safe to drive in without a helmet. They are significantly more prone to breakage. There is a reason you don't see 1500rwhp daily drivers, one because they are useless and two because they break. Lastly, proefi is great. I personally use a holley dominator. However "no lift shifting" will still not compete with an auto. You can pretend you know what you are talking about all you want. It's clear you don't. Again, I will put any amount of money you wish at an event of your choice next year. The pot simply has to cover me getting there and buy in. I'm a mid low 8 car so you shouldn't have an issue.
