Hey fellas- i want to acquire the oem air intake box for my 1999 L.

I know the MAF is a touch bigger on the newer models but does this mean the intake piping is different as well? I realize the BOX itself is the same but my concern is- if i get a 01+ box and plumbing; will it work on my 99 that has the smaller MAF?

I also read that the fender opening is larger on the newer model.

Thanks

I believe there's no difference on the MAF-mount section of the airbox...

Same four bolt mount-opening to accept any F150 MAF sorta speak.

I don't recall if the "snorkle/nozzle" to the fender is any different across the years; I know the fender opening, itself, is or was larger versus the regular F150.

After looking at pictures on eBay; it does appear as if the opening itself on the box is larger for 01 and newer. Therefore I would also assume the piping that leads to it would be different.
