Factory HID

Hi,
I have a '08 with factory HID, but am wanting to up the wattage to 55. Can I just remove the factory ballasts and install after market ones. But then is there a adapter harness for factory to new ballast and ballast to bulb? Any help would be great.

Why would you want to do this?


I'm not positive but this might screw with the canbus system on that car, trying to run a higher wattage ballast, since you already have factory HID's.
