I have noticed that if i use the self-adjusting mechanism by lifting the clutch pedal so does the slack in the pedal go away as it should do. But if i go through the gears with either speed or power shifting so do i get the slack back after just one or two WOT runs. And naturally so will the car be hard to shift. Is this a problem with the clutch or just with the self-adjusting mechanism ?
I don't have any other clutch problems so far (14K stock clutch)

thanks
JL

jl its possible that the teeth on the adjuster are a littke stripped so they are not holding at the end few teeth?

you will see alot of guys on this board swear by an aftermarket adjustable firewall setup with quadrant

I was just curious if this was a known/common problem. I will upgrade the quadrant and the adjuster during the winter.:burnout:
