Posted this over in SW forum as well but thought I would try a wider brain trust.

NEVER had an issue passing any smog test until today. They are telling me that system (OBD scan) is not recognizing that the cats sensors are working. Here is my set up

Magnaflow catted X pipe
Bassani cat back
mil eliminators
canned tune

Guy running OBD test said that AZ changed its software recently and cars like this have been passing for years are now failing. Is it as simple as pulling the MIL eliminators?

Thanks in advance for any help

It could also be the midpipe. I fail in NJ because the magnaflow x-pipe, same as you have, doesn't clean the air like stock since it's missing two cats, and as a result it fails. I put the stock midpipe on and pass.

Your mil eliminators are most likely your problem. If I understand you correctly your cat readiness monitor isn't set because the mil eliminators prevent the system from completing the test for the monitor to set. Swap it out with your stok H pipe, do the drive cycle and you should be fine.

Sounds like it might be your tune. A factory tune has a set of "srt" that need to complete for the Ecm to be "ready" for emissions testing. Some tunes eliminate these things and the Ecm never goes into "ready" mode. If not the tune It could be the mil eliminators. Once you figure that out and fix it you need to perform a drive cycle so it will complete the "catalyst" srt.
