Quite a few folks have it, including me. I really like the symmetry and the fact that it's bigger than the stock knob. I got the black one, but they offer white as well. Good luck!

I have one and I LOVE it. I also bought an ivory metallic special edition knob from them and the color almost perfectly matches our gauge cluster. You can't go wrong here.

Pardon my ignorance, but how does a new shifter knob give you a shorter throw?

I will get those pics soon ...and no..there is no locknut...just screw down and thats it....no shift pattern to be crooked or anything...just screw down till nice and tight.

I like that comparison of why it makes a shorter throw :D

Shorter throw becaue the ball sits down on the handle further..hence lowering the height...hence creating a shorter throw. If you have a 3 foot handle..the throw would be gigantic....if you have a 3 inch handle....throw is shorter then.

But I still like Doug's drawing concept better :D

Here a couple more pics...the fatknobs also screws down further into the handle compared to the stock one...also making the throw evern shorter....Thats not dirt on my car..thats the way the metallic comes out with the flash up close with the Dark Shadow Grey.
