Was thinking about selling my Cobra I have had it since 08 and just don’t have the attachment to it I used to. I thought about selling last year but wanted to take another year to try and make a 9 second pass. Car went 10.09 @ 137 in 2013 and then a 10.07 @ 138 in 2014.
I really only ever go to the track with the Corvette forum rental with a few buddies. Car broke the Trans and ended my day with the best pass of 10.07.
I have bought a t56 magnum with the 2.97 first with the hope that more gear would allow the 3700lb car to 60ft a little better just to get me a 9 second pass.
I have been demotivated and the car sits now with the broke Trans out and waiting for the New RXT and Magnum to go in.
Basic run down of the car 65K miles
TVS with Dragon TB 3.2 upper 4# lower
60# injectors Lethal Budget return system with twin 255’s
Jlt High Boost with a VMP 3000 Maf
Mach Long tubes with O/R Prochamber
UPR K Member and A arms
175lb coil overs on Tokico Adjustable shocks
MM CC Plates
Built 96 length SRA with 31 spline Wavetrac
Welded axle tubes Swar Bar and Strange axles with the disk brake c clip eliminator kit that retains cobra brakes and abs.
Just has a Team Z ARB installed this year.
Strange 10 way adjustable shocks with GT springs with 1 coil cut.
Steeda sub frames
Quiet Borla cat back.
Car also has a Killer Chiller
I’m probably forgetting a lot of stuff but this is just a feeler.
I would Probably start at 21k with both the AFS 18’s and the Weld RTS wheels
With new trans and a driver lighter than my 290lbs this should be a 9 second car on 93 pump.
Also Have 4 fresh tires Rears are 315/35/18 Toyo Drag radials to dail down the trans gearing on the street.
