I recently purchased the car from Chris Acosta who is a member here and the original owner is Charles who is also a member here, I'm not sure on screen names. Anyway, I'm not sure the cobra thing is for me. Between the car payment and not wanting to break a car I can't afford to fix I think it may be time to bow out gracefully and get back into a foxbody car. I've owned the car for a little over a month...here is a quick run down...
Sonic Blue 03 cobra-
39,500 miles
2.4 kenne bell pullied for 17lbs 3.5in upper 4lb lower
Supporting fuel mods. BAP/60lb injectors/CPR fuel rail
Tuned by Lund, supposedly makes 570 on 93...I have no documentation for this
Has a single blade throttle body and cold air intake..have to check manufacturer
26 spline input shaft and brass shift fork pads? I have the receipt I will have to check again.
Spec 3 clutch
Mgw shifter-blue handle
Lunar boost gauge/ Lunar fuel pressure gauge/lc1 wideband-non functioning/ In a speed of sound pod
Lowered with h&r SS lowering springs with koni yellow struts
Maximum motorsports bushings in the IRS
Level 5 halfshafts
IRS brace
Have receipts from rear end being freshend up by ford last summer but rear does have a slight wine from 45-65 under load.
Full length subframe connectors
18x 10.5 rears with brand new 315 toyo r888 fronts have 18s as well with brand new 295 toyo r888's
Has an aftermarket heat exchanger but not sure on brand
Also has an ice box (not sure on brand)
That is what comes to mind at the moment, I will update as needed
Now for the bad-
Car has an accident history but is not a salvage tite, there was an accident with a guardrail and an additional claim from a curb. Car was repaired by D&V auto in VA with a lifetime warranty on the body work and paint. It had been completely re-painted aside from the roof and mirrors and looks very good.
-slight gear wine mentioned above
-steering rack bushings occasionally creak
-front brakes will need to be done soon

Thanks
Alex
